These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of REAL Custom Training (RCT) website, located at realcustomtraining.com

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use realcustomtraining.com if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions: “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person logging on this website and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to RCT. “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same. Acceptable use of the website and all of its content.

The purpose of the website is to provide a mechanism through which customers may register for workshops and access past, current, and pending future workshop orders

Users may access and request invoices and workshop payment options through the website.

Users may transfer or cancel workshops through the portal. Users must transfer no later than 3 days before the start of the workshop they are transferring to or from, whichever is earlier. Users must cancel no later than 3 weeks prior before the workshop start date in order to receive a full refund. If users transfer or cancel after the cut-off dates, you will not be refunded.

If a workshop is cancelled you will be will be able to transfer to a different workshop or receive a full refund.

User account information, including email address, should be kept up to date so that we can contact you with any critical information about your account and orders.

Registration procedures, password tips and other security information.

Passwords must be 8 or more characters.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel three weeks prior to the workshop deadline in order to receive a full refund. No refund is available for a cancellation after that date.

Transfers

Transfers must take place 3 days before the workshop you are transferring from, or to, starts. (whichever date is earlier). You are able to self-transfer to another workshop of the same type at a different location or time (the link to do so is included in your workshop instructions). If you would like to transfer to a different type of workshop entirely you must cover the difference in the cost of the workshops, and reach out to our support staff to do so.

Registration, confirmation and payment for public workshops

All workshop prices listed by REAL Custom Training exclude Connecticut sales tax.

On receipt of a workshop registration, REAL Custom Training will email a Tax Invoice to the person specified as the Order Contact.

Once an order has been approved, REAL Custom Training will send a workshop confirmation email to each attendee with relevant details regarding the workshop.

Payment is required in full before workshop commencement.

REAL Custom Training may cancel the workshop placement where payment has not been received prior to workshop commencement.

Payment can be made by cheque, direct debit, or credit card.

Credit card payments and refunds for public workshops

Where you wish to pay by credit card, we will provide you with a secure web page for you to enter your credit card details. Your credit card transaction will be securely processed directly by our credit card payment gateway provider. REAL Custom Training will not receive or store any credit card details.

Where you are eligible for a partial or full refund and have paid by credit card, we will refund the amount owed into to the same credit card account that was used to make payment.

Intellectual property and licensing

REAL Custom Training and our third-party training providers invest in the intellectual property that forms our training workshops. We are keen to give you the benefit of our and our third party intellectual property. The ownership of that intellectual property remains with us.

Attending our training workshops gives workshop attendees the ability to use our intellectual property as contained in the training workshop materials and instructor briefings for individual training and development purposes. Our workshop material and the intellectual property within that workshop material is licensed – not sold - to you for this purpose. And the license is to the workshop attendee. It cannot be transferred.

Confidentiality

In working together on the organizing and delivery of the training, we may have access to confidential information from you, and you may have access to confidential information from us. We each agree that we will keep that information confidential.

We each agree we won't pass on confidential information to a third party without consent from the other party, unless required to by law. This excludes any information that wasn’t confidential at the time that it was accessed, or has since become public knowledge.

People

REAL Custom Training is not responsible for any travel, accommodation and other disbursements associated with attending a training workshop. These are the responsibility of the person registered on the workshop or their employer. If REAL Custom Training is running a training workshop at your place or a place that you have organized, we will make sure that our people comply with your policies and rules. If your people are attending a training workshop at our premises or a training location that we have organized, you will make sure that your workshop attendees will comply with our policies and rules.

Workshop content and structure changes for in-house workshops We are happy to work with you to customise our training material to meet your specific requirements. There may be a fee charged for doing this. We will agree the nature and scope of the changes, and the fees ahead of commencing the work.

Registration, confirmation and payment for in-house workshops Unless otherwise agreed, REAL Custom Training will issue an invoice for in-house training workshops. Payment is due on the 20th of the month following the date of the invoice.

Once the Terms of Reference for the in-house training workshop we will ask for a purchase order number that we will put onto the invoice.

The workshop booking can be changed or cancelled up until the time that the Training Terms of Reference for the in-house training workshop is signed.
