Putnam Rotary Club Compassionate Leadership Program
A professional development opportunity for those putting Service Above Self
Description
Although operations have largely returned to “normal,” the COVID-19 pandemic’s lingering effects in Northeastern Connecticut include staffing shortages and burnout, particularly amongst the nonprofit and human service providers at the front lines of the pandemic response.
Addressing these issues will require leaders to move beyond merely empathizing with their employees’ struggles; leaders must begin to combine empathy with targeted, supportive actions— a.k.a. Compassionate Leadership.
Over the course of this 9-hour workshop provided by the Putnam Rotary Club and REAL Custom Training, participants will explore and develop essential skills to practice Compassionate Leadership in a post-pandemic workplace.
